Rice Balls Dog Recipe
Preparation:
- Boil water in a saucepan. Reduce the heat and cook the rice, covered, until tender and quite sticky. Remove the cover and let it cool.
- When the rice is cool enough to handle, wet your hands and form rice balls 1 ½ inches in diameter. Spread the sesame seeds on a piece of wax paper and roll the rice balls in them. You can make about 24 rice balls with this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of uncooked short-grained sushi or arborio rice (or use long-grain white rice)
- 4 cups of water
- Sesame seeds
Note: Rice Balls offer the perfect solution for the hard to please eater who doesn't like to get his muzzle messy when munching up a plate of loose grains. The tiny balls can also be used as training treats.
