Puppy-Breath Biscuits Recipe
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 400° F.
- Mix the flour, salt, and charcoal. In a medium bowl, mix the eggs, oil, parsley, and mint; mix well. Slowly stir in the flour mixture, and then add sufficient milk to make the dough with the consistency of drop biscuits. Place heaping tablespoons of dough about 1 inch apart onto the greased baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes or until firm and lightly browned.
- Store the cooled biscuits in a tightly covered container in the fridge. The minty scent will travel to other foods in the fridge if the biscuits are not well sealed. You can make about 48 biscuits with this recipe
Ingredients: 4 cups of whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon of salt 2 tablespoons of charcoal (available at health food stores) 2 lightly beaten large eggs 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1 cup of chopped Italian parsley 4 tablespoons of chopped fresh mint 1 1/3 cup of milk
Note: Have you ever noticed how sweet and delightful a puppy's breath is, but how stinky that of a grown dog can be? The parsley, mint, and charcoal in these biscuits will work as breath sweeteners, and your dog will have almost kissable breath! Charcoal, a human nutritional supplement, can be bought at health food stores.
