Jezebel’s Peanut Butter Biscuits Dog Recipe
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 400° F. and butter 4 baking sheets.
- Combine the whole wheat and soy flours, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Blend the peanut butter and milk in a blender. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix it all well. The dough should be soft.
- Turn the dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead it lightly. Roll out the dough ¼ inch thick and cut it into 2-inch squares. Place the biscuits on the baking sheets about 1 inch apart. Bake for 15 minutes, or until they are browned lightly. Store the cooled biscuits, well wrapped, in the refrigerator or freezer. You can make about 36 biscuits with this recipe.
Ingredients: 3 cups of whole wheat flour 1 cup of soy flour 2 tablespoons of baking powder 1 teaspoon of salt 2 cup of peanut butter, either creamy or chunky 1 ½ cup of milk
Note: These biscuits are full of energy for your dog. Make sure you use fresh 100 percent peanut butter without salt, sugar, or hydrogenated oils.
Burying bones is an instinctive behavior for dogs. The early wild ancestors of the dog at one time stored their food underground to use it in leaner times.
There is the possibility that dogs learned to bark by copying the sounds made by man. In the wild, wolves and wild dogs don't bark, they howl.
