Gray Panther Pasta Dog Recipe
Preparation:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then rinse and drain. Reserve the pasta in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the butter over medium-low heat in a small saucepan. Stir in the flower and whisk until it begins to turn golden. Over medium heat, add the milk gradually, stirring constantly cook until the sauce is thickened. Add the cheese, salt to taste, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the pasta, pour in the sauce, and toss it to mix well. Serve warm. The leftovers can be reheated in top of a double boiler or in a microwave oven. You can make 6 quarts of pasta and sauce with this recipe.

2 pounds of pasta 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour 3 cups of milk 2 cups of freshly grated Romano cheese Salt ½ teaspoon of freshly ground white pepper 4 cups of diced cooked boneless chicken
Note: Pasta is an excellent food for the aging dog. It is versatile too; you can add chicken, beef, or sausage to it. If your dog needs extra calories, make a rich and buttery cream sauce. Hot or cold, pasta is a favorite of dogs of all ages. The shape is immaterial to your dog, but you'll find that the food stays in the bowl if you serve short noodles instead of the traditional long spaghetti.
