French Toast Dog Recipe

French Toast Dog Recipe

Preparation:
Melt butter over medium heat in a large, heavy skillet. Add bread and cook, tossing bread cubes sporadically so that they brown lightly and evenly. In a small bowl, beat eggs with milk and cinnamon. Pour the egg mixture over bread and fry until the bread is well browned. You can make about 2 quart French toasts with this recipe.

Variations:
For delicious cheese French toast, leave out the cinnamon and add 2 cups of grated cheese—Cheddar, Gruyere, Muenster—to the egg mixture.

Ingredients:
6 to 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 loaf of day-old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
8 large eggs
1 ½ cups of milk
1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Note:
Fortunately, dogs aren't picky about day-old bread, so this is a brilliant way to avoid wasting food. Any mixture of breads will do.

Cats usually show antipathy towards the intrusion of a new puppy into the household. The sense of balance of power has been momentarily disturbed, and as the cat finds itself overpowered by a energetic puppy who isn't yet old an adequate amount of respect, the cat may move out of the house for a while. As a safety precaution, trim the cat's claws to prevent slashing and damage to the puppy’s eyes.
