Flea-Ban Biscuits Dog Recipe
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 400° F. and grease 4 or 5 baking sheets.
- Mix the flour, wheat germ, brewer's yeast, and salt. In a large mixing bowl, mix the garlic and oil. Slowly stir the flour mixture and stock alternately into the oil and garlic, beat well until the dough is well mixed.
- Give the dough a ball shape. Roll out the dough ½ inch thick on a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into rounds by using a 2-inch biscuit cutter or sharp knife. Move the biscuits to the prepared baking sheets. Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are well browned. Turn off the heat and let the biscuits dry in the oven for several hours. Store in the refrigerator, or place in freezer bags and let it freeze. You can make about 72 biscuits with this recipe.

Note: They say a reasonable number of fleas is good fer a dog— keeps him from broodin' over bein' a dog.
Fleas are the torment of all dogs, and there are many of us who have no desire of resorting to Chemical sprays and powders. There is a proven fact that certain natural supplements will make your dog less attractive to fleas and other insects. Brewer's yeast and garlic are the most effective. Brewer's yeast is a great supplement as you can't overdo it and harm the dog. Most dogs don't like the flavor at first, so you must add it to their food very slowly. Once your dog becomes used to the taste, you can sprinkle it over everything to build up flea resistance.
