Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. and oil four 13 X 9-inch baking sheets.
  2. Mix the whole wheat, cornmeal, milk powder, flour brewer's yeast, bonemeal, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir water into dry ingredients, then add corn oil and mix well. The batter will be thin.
  3. Divide batter between baking sheets, spreading evenly ½ inch thick, as though for pizza. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool the kibble, and then break into small pieces. Store in covered container in refrigerator, or divide into individual servings, place in freezer bags, and freeze. You can make 16 cups of kibble with this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 cups cornmeal
  • 2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
  • ½ cup brewer's yeast
  • 2 tablespoons bonemeal
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup com oil

Note:
Cornmeal makes this even crunchier than Multi-Grain Kibble.

Dogs tend to respect their owners more if they are taught basic obedience skills. They love to learn and actually need tasks in order to put their intelligence to use and to gratify their innate wish to please.
