Cheesy Kasha Kibble Dog Recipe
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. and grease two large baking sheets.
- Combine the whole wheat and soy flours and kasha in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Blend oil, water, and tamari in a small bowl. Stir liquid into dry ingredients, mixing well. Fold in grated cheese. Spread the mixture ½ inch thick on baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Cool the kibble, and then break into small pieces. You can make 8 cups of kibble with this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup soy flour
- 2 cups cooked kasha (buckwheat groats)
- 1 cup safflower oil
- 3 cups water
- 2 tablespoons tamari sauce
- 2 cups coarsely grated Cheddar cheese
Note: Cakelike and moist in texture, this kibble contains the grated cheese dogs find irresistible.
